The federal government pays $130/day or more to house an immigrant seeking asylum in a county jail or for-profit detention center. It costs Viator House only $55/day to provide housing, food and case management services for one participant.

Please help us meet those costs 

*$500 covers a week of groceries for our 25 participants.

*$200 covers clothing and essentials for two new participants.

*$100 covers an emergency cell phone for two new participants.

$10 pays for a week of emergency cell phone service.
$25 covers two weeks of public transportation for a participant
attending school and going to work.

Volunteer

VHH needs volunteers to help in many ways each day. Volunteers tutor, cover shifts at VHH when no staff members can be present, provide rides to school, jobs and other locations, and help in many other ways that allow these young men grow emotionally, spiritually, psychologically and physically.  Please contact us for more information and volunteer opportunities.
